SAN FRANCISCO (Feb. 23, 2006) - U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Fannie Wilks brushes the dirt and dust off the side of the tile wall in the historical prison galley on Alcatraz Island. Twenty-eight members from Sector San Francisco on Yerba Buena Island and the Integrated Support Command in Alameda provided community outreach and volunteered their time helping the National Parks Service with cleaning 75 cells and the kitchen in what was once an army fort and later a federal prison.
