Cosco Busan Oil Spill Press Conference Set For Today
SAN FRANCISCO --
WHO: Media are invited to attend a press conference hosted by the Cosco Busan Unified Command. WHAT: A press conference will be held to give updates on the Cosco Busan oil spill response efforts. All media attending will need to show press credentials, identification, current drivers license and valid auto insurance to enter Coast Guard Island. Unified Command members speaking at the press conference include: * Steve Edinger, Asst. Chief of California Department of Fish and Game, State Onscene Coordinator Unified Command * Capt. William Uberti, U.S.Coast Guard, Commander Sector San Francisco, Federal Onscene Coordinator Unified Command * Barry McFarland, The O'Brien's Group, Incident Commander for Responsible Party
* Rear Adm. Craig Bone, U.S. Coast Guard, Commander 11th District
WHERE: Coast Guard Island, Alameda, Calif., Gresham Hall (there will be a Public Affairs representative at the front gate on Coast Guard Island to direct media toward Gresham Hall) WHEN: 3:00 p.m. Nov. 10, 2007
