 Coast Guard Cutter Eagle to hold Media Availability during Festival of Sail

WHO: U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle.

WHAT: The Commanding Officer of the USCG Cutter Eagle invites the media to come onboard the vessel after she moors following the Parade of Sail. The Commanding Officer, a U.S. Coast Guard Academy cadet, and a crewmember, will be present to answer questions about life onboard "America's Tall Ship."

WHEN:  Wednesday, July 23 at 2 p.m.

WHERE: Meet at the entrance to Pier 30/32, then onboard USCGC Eagle.

Media interested in attending the event, or finding out more information about the USCGC Eagle, should contact L.t.j.g. Lauren Kolumbic by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23 at 415-740-4364.  

With the exception of this event, the USCGC Eagle will be closed to the public until 10 a.m. on Thursday, 24 July. Media wishing to board the Eagle must have valid press credentials and identification in order to gain access to the pier.
