Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point provides assistance to Air Station Sacramento

 

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii, aircrew responded to a search and rescue case west of Half Moon Bay, Calif., Saturday for Air Station Sacramento.

Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point provided one C-130 airplane and two crews Friday to cover Air Station Sacramento's area of responsibility for search and rescue during the search for seven Coast Guard C-130 Hercules aircrewmen and two Marine Corps AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter aircrew.  Air Station Sacramento continues to provide 24-hour search and rescue response.
